5 Reasons Strong-Pulling Dog Owners Are Switching to the Forza Harness

(The Italian-made harness training pros recommend when nothing else has worked.)

— Reason 1

Comfortable Enough They'll Actually Wear It

The harness that works only matters if your dog will let you put it on.

The Forza slips on in seconds — no over-the-head wrestling, no awkward leg-threading. The padded chest plate, hypoallergenic lining, and minimal footprint mean it sits on your dog like clothing they didn't notice. No chafing under the armpits, no matted fur, no fight at the door.

Owners tell us their dogs come running when they pick it up off the hook. That's the test.

— Reason 2

Zero Pressure Where It Matters Most

The neck. The trachea. The spine. The spots a vet will tell you to never put strain on.

Most no-pull tools get their "no-pull" effect by hurting somewhere. Choke chains close the airway. Front-clip harnesses twist the shoulder. Head halters can wrench the neck on a single lunge. The Forza doesn't trade comfort for control — its anatomy is built around protecting the parts that matter.

It's a relief for senior dogs, dogs with breathing issues, and dogs recovering from surgery — the kind of cases where every other tool causes more harm than help.

It Works With Your Dog, Not Against Them

A prong collar punishes. A head halter restrains. The Forza teaches.

The martingale loop sits over the shoulders, away from your dog's throat, trachea, and spine. When they pull, it gives a gentle, even squeeze around the rib cage. When they stop, it releases. That clear feedback — pressure on, pressure off — is how dogs learn fastest.

Your dog learns. You stop fighting the leash. Walks become walks again.

— Reason 4

Built for Real Pullers — Labs, Shepherds, Mastiffs, Pit Mixes

This isn't a starter harness. This is what you reach for when the 65-pound Lab has already destroyed two harnesses, when the Shepherd lunges at every squirrel, when the rescue Pit pulls so hard you've considered not walking him at all.

The Forza is rated for medium and large dogs — fitted for chest girths from roughly 22" to 35" depending on size. Reinforced stitching. Stainless rings. Layered, waterproof material that doesn't fray, mat, or hold odor. The kind of build you only get from a workshop that's been making harnesses by hand for almost twenty years.

Strong dogs. Stronger harness.

— Reason 5

Handmade in Italy. Quietly, For Almost Twenty Years.

Every Forza is cut, sewn, and assembled by a small team of artisans near Venice. The same workshop that built the first Tre Ponti harness in 2007 is still building them today.

There's no factory floor. No mass production. Each harness is checked by a real human before it ships — because when every harness goes through real hands, you can. The materials (no leather, no animal-derived components, fully hypoallergenic) are chosen for dogs who'll wear this thing for years, not seasons.

It costs $100 because that's what it costs to make properly. We've never apologized for it. Neither have our customers.

Still Have Questions? We Have Answers.

Will the Forza work on my strong puller?
For most dogs, yes — when used consistently with light positive-reinforcement cues. The martingale isn't a magic stop button; it's a clear physical signal your dog learns to respond to. Most owners see meaningful change within a few weeks.
Is it safe? Doesn't it choke the dog?+
No. The Forza tightens around the rib cage and chest girth — not the neck or throat. It cannot close the airway. The pressure is gentle, even, and self-releasing the moment your dog stops pulling.
What size dog is the Forza for?+
Medium to large dogs — generally 25 lbs and up, with chest girths from roughly 22" to 35". We have a sizing video and full chart on the product page. If you're between sizes, our team will help you pick.
How is it different from a regular harness or a no-pull harness?+
A regular harness gives the dog leverage to pull harder. A typical no-pull harness clips at the front and works by twisting the shoulder. The Forza uses an over-the-shoulder martingale loop — completely different mechanism, no shoulder strain, no neck pressure.
How do I put it on?+
Step-in design: your dog steps in with their front feet, you bring the sides up, and snap the buckle on top. Most owners get it on in under 10 seconds once they've done it twice.
Is it really handmade in Italy?+
Yes — every single one. Cut, sewn, and assembled in a workshop near Venice by the same artisan team since 2007. No factory production, no overseas manufacturing.
What about shipping?+
Free U.S. shipping on orders over $150. Orders typically ship within 1 business day from our U.S. warehouse. For questions about returns or exchanges, reach out to our team and we'll walk you through it.
Will it last?+
With normal use and care, yes — many of our customers are still walking with the same Forza after five-plus years. Buckles are wear-items and replaceable; we sell them on-site if one ever breaks.
